The
BCA Program trains students in state-of-the-art computer technology. The
emphasis is on helping students learn the theory and apply it successfully in
developing information systems.
Students
are trained to design and implement information systems that enhance
organizational and financial functions, add value to existing products or
customers, provide new products, enhance or add to distribution channels or
enhance decision making.

brief details of the BCA Program are given below for information purpose only.
Interested students are advised to refer to the combined BBA and BCA prospectus.
Rules and regulations pertaining to UG degree and PG degree Programs as given in
this prospectus do not apply to the BCA Program.

Note:
Students with non-mathematics background at 10+2 level are required to
concurrently pursue and complete the Foundation Course in Mathematics.
Foundation Course in
Mathematics (FCM)
For
Non-Mathematics Students: Students who do not have mathematics background
(at 10+2 level) are required to concurrently pursue the Foundation Course in
Mathematics (FCM) from the ICFAI University along with first year of the BCA Program.

Computer Lab Practicals
(Compulsory)
Students
enrolled into the BCA Program are required to attend the Computer Lab as a part
of practical training. These practicals are compulsory for the eight subjects
specified in the BCA Program Structure (given in the table marked *). Students
are mandatorily required to attend these practicals before appearing for the
examinations in these 8 subjects.
The
computer lab practicals facility will be provided at approved
colleges/institutions all over India.

Regulations.
