The ICFAI University, Mizoram

The ICFAI University, Mizoram has been established under Section 4(2) of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Mizoram Act 2006 passed by Legislative Assembly of Mizoram. The University has been notified under Notification No. B.12012/2/2006-EDC, Dated 19-10-2006. The University empowered by UGC to award degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956.

The University believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skills in core and frontier areas through innovative educational programs, research, consulting and publishing, and developing a new cadre of citizens with a high level of competence and deep sense of ethics and commitment to the code of professional conduct.

The University is administered as per the Act, Statutes and Rules. The Board of Governors is headed by the Chancellor and has the Vice-Chancellor and others as members. The Board of Management is headed by the Vice-Chancellor. The Academic Council is responsible for all academic matters.

The University offers campus based Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce, Information Technology as well as Hospitality and Tourism Management.The University awards Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree to the students who successfully complete the relevant Program, subject to the University Regulations.

Campus Infrastructure

The University campus is spread across nearly 17.58 acres of land with built-up area of 43,000 sq.ft. The University is operating from its own premises. The Classrooms are well-equipped with latest audio-visual equipment, LCD Projector and there are many other facilities like language lab with 20 stations, IT lab, Auditorium that has 300 seating capacity and Video Conferencing room. The campus is also well equipped with fire fighting system, water harvesting and modern filtration system.
